Showstars
Two great entertainment hotspots in Berlin are Bar jeder Vernunft and Tipi am Kanzleramt. The private, nostalgic mirror tent of Bar jeder Vernunft features Chanson and Jazz programmes. The larger Tipi stages stars like Georgette Dee or Gitte Haenning. Also the off- theatre scene has a great venue: O-Tonpiraten, an ensemble that does lip sinc theatre based on film classics which they alienate deliciously. Their very own theatre O-Tonart also features numerous guest stars.

Comedy
German humour is no export hit, but there are a lot of good comedians in this country. Most of them came to fame in Thomas Hermanns Quatsch Comedy Club. The Live acts are performed by known Comedians like Ole Lehmann or Cindy aus Marzahn and still it provides a stage for young talents. The last mentioned also have found their stage in Kookaburra Comedy Club, many exciting newcomers from the queer community perform here. Fun guaranteed – but only if your German is fluid!
