A look at the calendar of Siegessäule shows that Berlin can be veeery sexy indeed, at least in the gay-lesbian community: there is a different sex party on every day, which absolutely fits Berlin’s reputation as the metropolis of gay sex. Apart from saunas and cruising cinemas, parties for all kinds of erotic sex games have been established. Depending on the party; you get undressed, more or less, pack up your clothes and off you go.
The Lab.oratory is extremely popular. It is possible and comes quite handy to spend all weekend there and in the adjacent trendy club Berghain. In Prenzlauer Berg there are four hot spots calling for uncomplicated sex: Stahlrohr 2.0, Leathers, Darkroom and Cocks. By the way, people do also chat here; the friendly staff at Stahlrohr 2.0 create an atmosphere for “relaxed open minded sex”(as advertised). The CDL Club in Schöneberg has become quite a venue. It is surprisingly chic for this kind of a club and there is a different motto every night, for example every first and third Friday in the month “Big Dick Society”, the name speaks for itself. Ajpnia, right around the corner, has a more alternative touch. Kreuzberg’s and Neukölln’s gays are drawn to Club Culture Houze or the newly renovated Triebwerk. On Sundays mainly the younger crowd prefers Ficken3000, where famous DJs turn up the heat for “Pork” party. If you like it harder, the Bösen Buben who have moved to Schöneberg are your thing: Germany’s gay association for all types of flagellation and spanking. More sex parties invite you to go to Bull, traditional Scheune, burly Woof, New Action and Baustelle Berlin as well as some porn cinemas. A party by invitation only is Horse Fair at KitKat-Club in Kreuzberg.
